Getting started

You start with a conversation

You tell kiimu what needs to be done. If the task needs no tool, you get an answer the way you would in any chat. If it needs one, you see every step the agent takes.

Agents

An agent is a saved conversation

If a task is worth repeating, you save it as an agent. The agent comes with a description in plain language that you can read and change at any time. One click on Start runs it again.

Permissions

An agent works within the permissions you set

Permissions cover which tools an agent may use, whom it may contact and which steps need approval. An agent can never do more than it has been allowed to do.

Knowledge base

Documents are stored in one place

What you upload goes into your knowledge base, separate from the individual task. An agent finds it there when it searches for it.

Models

Subscription or AI credits

Use your AI subscription for the free agent on your computer. With a paid plan, it runs in a cloud sandbox using your subscription or AI credits from kiimu. Your team shares context in the workspace.

AI usage

Where your agent runs

Your agent runs on your computer with Free or in a cloud sandbox from Pro. You share team chat, context, knowledge, and files with your team in the kiimu workspace.

How your team works with AI agents.

People and agents work in the same kiimu workspace. Tasks start in a team channel; shared skills, files, and connected tools move the work forward. Everyone can follow progress and contribute. In Free, agents run on your computer; from kiimu Pro, they run in cloud sandboxes.

  1. Start a task together

Write what needs to happen next in a team channel and mention an agent. Teammates add information or attach files. Everyone works from the same thread.

  2. Use shared skills and connected tools

The agent uses skills your team shares for recurring work and works in your connected tools. It brings in current information, works with files from the workspace, and shows what it is doing in the channel.

  3. Keep work moving in parallel

While the agent works, a teammate can answer a question, add new information, or bring in another agent for part of the task. Everyone can see the shared progress in the channel.

  4. Bring results back to the team

The agent updates a connected tool or saves a file in the workspace and posts the result in the thread. Your team can build on it right away and start the next task.
